Ghost Capture
Ghost Capture ("the Service") is a Freemium app by Kristen Swanson of Tiny App Studio ("We," "Our," or "Us"). This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.
By using our Service, you agree to the Privacy Policy and associated terms.
Information Collection and Use
Local Analytics
This app uses services provided by Apple and Telemetry Deck to collect information and improve the app. This helps us understand how our users are using the app and how we can improve it. Personally identifiable information or user-entered data (like your captures) are NOT collected.
Apple Reminders Integration
When you choose to sync with Apple Reminders, Ghost Capture accesses:
- Your Apple Reminders lists
- Task titles, notes, priority, and due dates
- Task completion status
Why we access this data:
- To enable task synchronization between Ghost Capture and your Apple Reminders account
How we use this data:
- Display your tasks within the app
- Allow you to mark tasks complete
- Create new tasks in your Apple Reminders account
- Sync changes between Ghost Capture and Apple Reminders
No user data from Apple Reminders is saved or stored by Tiny App Studio.
Google Tasks Integration
When you choose to sync with Google Tasks, Ghost Capture accesses:
- Your Google Tasks lists
- Task titles, notes, and due dates
- Task completion status
- Your Google account email (displayed in-app only)

- To enable task synchronization between Ghost Capture and your Google Tasks account
How we use this data:
- Display your tasks within the app
- Allow you to mark tasks complete
- Create new tasks in your Google Tasks account
- Sync changes between Ghost Capture and Google Tasks
Ghost Capture's use of Google user data adheres to Google API Services User Data Policy, including Limited Use requirements.
No user data from Google Tasks is saved or stored by Tiny App Studio.
Insights Integration
If you use functionality on the Insights page, you will leave the app and send information to ChatGPT. Data you choose to send there will be subject to their policies and Tiny App Studio will not be liable.
Transaction Data Retention & Charge Changes for Paid Users
We and the Apple App Store retain transaction data for paid users to comply with financial and tax regulations. Personal content can be deleted in the app, but transactional data may be retained as required by law.
We may modify the app or its charges at any time. Users will be notified of new charges.
App Data Storage and Security
Data Storage
App data is stored locally on your device or in your iCloud account based on your device settings. Apple Reminders data is stored in your Apple Reminders account. Google Tasks data is stored in your Google Tasks account. Your email is displayed in-app but not captured or stored by Tiny App Studio. No app data, Apple Reminders data, or Google Tasks data is stored directly on Tiny App Studio servers.
Data Access
We do not have access to your app data, Apple Reminders data, or Google Tasks data at any time.
Data Retention
We do not retain any of your app data, Google Tasks data, or Apple Reminders data.
Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your Google user data or Apple user data with third parties. Your Google Tasks data and Apple Reminders data are used solely to provide the sync functionality you requested.
User Data Rights
You can delete your data at any time per the policies of Apple and Google.
To revoke Ghost Capture's access to your Google Tasks account, visit your Google Account settings at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions. When you revoke access, Ghost Capture immediately loses the ability to access your Google Tasks data. Google Tasks data is managed through your Google Tasks account.
To revoke Ghost Capture's access to Apple Reminders, use your Apple Account settings on your device.
To revoke Ghost Capture's access to local app data, delete the app from your device.
Security
You are responsible for keeping your device and app secure. Avoid jailbreaking or rooting your device. No method of digital storage is 100% secure. iCloud and Google do not guarantee local data residency if you use these services to back up your app data. We cannot guarantee absolute security and are not liable for unauthorized access.
Privacy for Users Under 13
Our Service is not for children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us to remove it.
App Performance, Internet Connectivity, and Compatibility
App performance may be affected by your internet connection. Data charges may apply based on your service provider.
We may release updates and cannot guarantee compatibility with all devices. We reserve the right to terminate the app at any time.
We are not liable for any losses related to app functionality. We rely on Apple for certain information and cannot ensure continuous operation.
Intellectual Property Constraints
All intellectual property related to Ghost Capture belongs to Kristen Swanson and Tiny App Studio. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative versions of the app.
Change of Ownership
If our ownership changes, your information may be transferred. You will be notified of any such changes.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this policy. Changes will be posted on this page. Last updated on November 25, 2025.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the USA. Disputes will be resolved in USA courts.
